A barrier between the divine realm

We just finished creating our new Shimenawa, and they are available now for your holiday, New Year's, and 2026.

This edition is made from autumn equinox-harvested high desert sage from New Mexico and wrapped in Sekishu Washi paper from Shimane, Japan.

Shimenawa is a sacred rope that symbolizes purification and divides the space between the area where gods are enshrined and the outside world. Traditionally displayed in Japan to welcome the new year, it also serves as a protective barrier to prevent impure things and evil spirits from entering.

Hang it in your space for protection, create your sacred area, and invite the gods of the new year.

神域と俗界を隔てる結界

このたび、新作のしめ縄が完成し、ホリデーシーズン、お正月、そして2026年に向けてご提供できる運びとなりました。

本作は、ニューメキシコ州の高地砂漠にて秋分の日に収穫されたセージを用い、島根県産の石州和紙で丁寧に巻き上げた特別な一品でございます。

しめ縄は、浄化を象徴し、神々が鎮まる聖域と外界とを明確に隔てる神聖な縄で、日本では新年を迎える際に飾られる伝統があります。また、不浄や邪気の侵入を防ぐ護りとしての役割も担っております。

空間にお飾りいただくことで、清浄な場を整え、新年の神々をお迎えする結界としてご活用いただけます。
